Engraving soap / beauty bars with a CNC
Several High-Z users are engraving soap with excellent results. And in the case of Unilever, they have machines on both sides of the Atlantic.
In the Dove flagship store in Hamburg, they have a custom size specifically made for engraving their beauty bars. You can see it in the images above. At the manufacturing plant they also have ten High-Z 1400T/105 for mass production of bars with customized text. These machines are in constant use with a goal of marking up to 300,000 Dove bars.
In the US, two High-Z 400T with double Kress spindles on the Z-axis are used to engrave Dove bars for PR events.
